On Sunday 12th September 2021, the combined PTAs of Clore Tikva Primary School, Kantor King Solomon High School and Wohl Ilford Jewish Primary School joined forces to put on a circus show for the whole community to enjoy on the ample grounds of Kantor King Solomon High School.
Sponsored by Elliot Leigh, Galliard Homes and Raffingers, the family fun event, put on by Happy Circus, was originally scheduled to take place in May 2020 but was sadly postponed due to Covid. Fortunately, it was able to be rescheduled and the late summer sun shone for everyone who attended.
The 400+ attendees were treated to a choice of two afternoon shows – those who stayed for both got to enjoy two different shows! Everyone enjoyed the twists and tumbles of the circus – although some of those sat in the front row of the second show didn’t overly enjoy getting sprayed with water!
Outside of the circus, there was also fun to be had whether being treated to a glitter tattoo, learning about science or filling up at the BBQ – expertly handled by Ben Saltman and Zac Abrahams.
Head of the Clore Tikva PTA, Mel Phillips said, “It was a really fantastic day! We hope that by the three schools coming together, we have created a great community feel and shown that by working as a team, we are stronger as a community.”
