Roll up! Roll up!

The grounds of Kantor King Solomon High School in Barkingside were transformed into a real-life circus earlier this month, complete with Big Top when the circus came to town!

Performers including acrobats and clowns from Happy’s Circus entertained over 400 spectators across two different afternoon shows which were enjoyed by all ages.

As well as the fun inside the tent, there were also activities for the whole family outside from glitter tattoos to quirky science experiments accompanied by delicious BBQ food catered by Ben Saltman and Zac Abrahams.

The event, which was sponsored by Elliot Leigh, Galliard Homes and Raffingers, had originally been scheduled for May 2020, but was postponed due to the pandemic.

After months of careful planning and the combined efforts of PTA’s of Clore Tikva Primary School, Kantor King Solomon High School and Wohl Ilford Jewish Primary School the event finally took place on Sunday 12th September and was hailed as a great success bringing the whole community together.

Head of the Clore Tikva PTA, Mel Phillips commented, “It was a really fantastic day!  We hope that by the three schools coming together, we have created a great community feel and shown that by working as a team, we are stronger as a community.”
